Job Title:             Sr. Business Analyst/ Software Asset Analyst

Location:             Washington, DC

Duration:             6+ Months

Need Face to face and GC, GC EAD and US Citizens.

 

 

Minimum Education/Experience

·         Bachelor's degree in the field of information technology or related and minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. SAM certification preferred (e.g., IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager).

·         Strong knowledge and work experience with software asset life cycle management processes:  planning, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, harvesting and retirement.

·         Knowledge and experience with software asset management related international standards (e.g., ISO 19770, ISO20000/ITIL).

·         Experience with development of software asset management policies, workflows, processes, and procedures.

·         Experience with license management and optimization tools, software discovery tools (e.g., MS SCCM, BDNA, HP DDM or similar) and IT asset inventory systems (e.g., Remedy CMDB, HP UCMDB or similar).

·         Experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions. Knowledge of software publishers' licensing models and software deployment and use rights (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Symantec, Adobe, CISCO, EMC and SAP).

·         Experience with developing RFP documentation, reviewing vendor proposals and participating in vendor presentations.
