Business System Analyst

Columbia, SC

12+ Months

 

Required Knowledge/Skills:

Ø  5 to 10 years of experience in IT development and operations;

Ø  At least 5 years of experience in quality management other than testing;

Ø  At least 3 years of IT testing experience;

Ø  Working knowledge or understanding of current industry standards and best practices in Software Development, e.g. IEEE, CMMI, Agile.

Ø  Ability to effectively work and communicate, in both oral and written, with all levels of the Department from frontline workers to executive staff as well as the vendor(s);

Ø  Ability to properly document quality audit and monitoring and controlling activities

Ø  Ability to interpret business process and business data models;

Ø  Superb written and oral communication skills, including the ability to give presentations to executive management. Strong proficiency in English is required;

Ø  Impeccable integrity. This project has very high visibility and represents a significant expenditure of public funds. Candidates must be confident with their abilities to make correct decisions and the conviction to speak out when necessary.

 

Preferred Requirements/Skills:

 

•     Experience in healthcare IT

•     Experience in Medicaid, Medicare,

•     TRICARE, or commercial healthcare insurance

•     Experience in project using enterprise architecture approaches such as TOGAF, FEAF, or MITA

•     Possess a green or black belt in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
