Dear friends,
As you know, the Bangladesh government has approved Bt brinjal for commercial cultivation in the country - it is the same genetically modified brinjal that other countries like India and Philippines have rejected. However, it appears that our own government is trying to make us into lab rats in a giant, irreversible and unaccountable experiment by allowing Bt brinjal to be cultivated here, even though it has been proven UNSAFE for our health and environment. Join me in asking the government to annul the approval of this toxic brinjal, and to protect our right to informed choices when it comes to what we grow and eat.
