Emergency Patrol Squad arrived in Manfouha region of Riyadh earlier today after riots were back in the region, Sabq news reported.
Witnesses said a number of vehicles had been damaged and a motorcyclist was assaulted and robbed of all his belongings.
Gunshots were heard in the area earlier today and locals were seen harassing police, who were maintaining calm. Officers, who were was fasting on the occasion of Ashura(10th Muharram) broke their fast and performed Maghrib prayers while on duty.
The area is currently surrounded by police and patrol cars. No injuries were reported yet.
