The views of Mike Ghouse on Qurbani is very good and thought provoking. We Ajamis, Desi Muslims always over acts in religious matters and rituals to over take the Arabs. Our Muslims generally lack Quranic knowledge as we read Quran without understanding. Tilawath in Arabic means to follow and practice the Guidance/Directives of Allah mentioned in the Quran after reading and understanding it. Hence those who don't know Arabic they MUST read the translation of Quran to know the Guidance of Allah to avoid all deviations, exploitation, extremism, Talibanism, excesses in rituals, misguidance by Taghoots, Babas, Pirs and their cults, religious groupings and parties, practice of Shirk, Bidah, un Islamic customs etc. 
 
Hence we should all should read the Quranic translation to understand the Guidance/Muhikhmath of Allah in all matters of life to earn the Blessings of Allah. Qurbani is also a Wajib ritual attached with performance of Hajj. The Hajis don't pray Eid Namaz and as such it has been a Wajib Namaz without Azaan with no binding of Qurbani. But we Ajamis always commit excesses in such rituals on the basis of weak and unauthentic Hadiths, sayings, traditions, etc. The event of Sunnath Ibrahimi took place some 6000 years ago before Quran as a complete Deen was bestowed on us along with guidance on all matters of life and rituals like Namaz, fasting, Hajj, Qurbani etc. We should therefore be realistic to avoid all misguidance and exploitation. Qurbani has become a big event in our country which results in wastage of meat also. Thanks.

Please change your signature
 
from "A convert to Islam" (ex-Ismaili) to "revert to Islam". Convert word has bad cannotation and is often associated with christian missionaries. Also we dont have to go through ritual of baptism . All creation and every child  is born Muslim per Quran and Hadith.

What a nonsensical suggestion. Muslims do not need any new pathetic anti-Allah
suggestions from the hypocrites and the human gods. They already have the truth
the whole truth about everything as Allah has taught them everything through the
Quran and the teaching of Messenger Muhammad (SAWS). These two major
Universities are most sufficient for Muslims.

Those who are following the above are already on the right path and do not need
any suggestions or proposals from any who are nothing but the band players of
lies and frauds.

You should spend time in teaching them about Islam and Allah's commands if you
know your Islam, and stop wasting time on insulting Muslims as if they don't know
anything. Don't try to play GOD in your ways of moderate, peace, pluralism, or
secularism.
Only Allah's ways are the true ways of moderation, freedom, peace, pluralism, and
secularism.
 
One of the major Sacrifices of Muslims is that they have given up the worship of
human gods, accepted Allah, HIS worship, HIS Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and
their commands of rules and regulations.
Violation of the above command one cannot expect to get any benefits from the
other work. No matter how many millions we spend for the charity. Also, some people
do charity work for the 'Stage show off', which is in fact cheating and deceiving the
people and Allah, saying: "we don't believe in you/Allah or your commands but we
will do what pleases us. That is the kufar ways and a heinous sin.
 
Millions of Muslims have taken the first most important step of accepting One
Creator-GOD, followed by all the other Commandments. That is called ' Divine Religion',
and not the man-made cultic religion.

The charity work of the Muslims is the highest of all that is every day, but without
playing loud Bands about it as it comes from the heart, showing love and obedient
to Allah.
By disobedience to Allah what good is the charity work?
One of the saying: "when one gives a charity with Right hand even the Left hand
shouldn't see it".
 
Eid ul Adha is an Eid of sacrifice, and to sacrifice an animal is ordained by
Prophet Muhammad SAWS on order of Allah, and every true Muslims who loves
Allah and respect HIM, will never change this ruling except the fake Muslims, who has
no idea who Prophet Abraham (AS) is, as they pretend to be Muslims and pretend
to celebrate both the Eids, one without Fasting in Ramadaan, and the other without
sacrificing an animal, more over without even knowing Allah or accepting the Quran
or praying the Salat/Namaz.
These are the people you should spend time to teach them and give them your
proposals and not to Muslims.
Start from today as it is a good day of Blessed Eid, which will be counted as the
most important and the best charity work.
