Dear Members,

We are hosting an e-learning session to explore the fundamentals of effective multigenerational organizing! The session is open to AWID and Young Feminist Wire members of all ages and generations! And will take place on Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 from 9:00 am EST-11:00 am EST. For conversion of this time, to other time zones, please visit Time and Date. Facilitators for the session include: Marisa Viana, AWID Young Feminist Activism Strategic Initiative Manager and Ghadeer Malek, AWID Young Feminist Activism Program Associate.

This e-learning session will provide participants with a basic overview of YFA's research and work exploring the fundamentals of achieving effective multigenerational organizing in women's movements. The content will explore; the importance of effective multigenerational organizing; opportunities and barriers to multigenerational organizing; and key actions or steps to achieve effective multigenerational organizing in women's movements. The e-learning session also aims to facilitate a discussion amongst participants' about their reactions to YFA's findings, and encourage sharing of successful examples of multigenerational movement building.

This e-learning session is open to women activists, academics, and researchers of all ages and generations interested in engaging in a dialogue on why multigenerational organizing is important for women's movements and exploring ways of achieving effective ways of achieving it in women's movements. Activists from various social movements are encouraged to attend.

Registrations are received on a first come first served basis and spaces are limited. Deadline for registrations is September 13, 2012.
