ALLAH’S COMMAND TO BELIEVERS -- DO NOT BACKBITE

[ALLAH'S Quran - 49:12] “O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo! some suspicion is a crime. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you love to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Ye abhor that (so abhor the other)! And keep your duty (to Allah). Lo! Allah is Relenting, Merciful.”


The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has said:

[Muslim, Book #032, Hadith #6265] “Abu Huraira (ra) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do you know what is backbiting? They (the Companions) said: Allah and His Messenger know best. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: backbiting implies your talking about your brother in a manner which he does not like. It was said to him: What is your opinion about this that if I actually find (that failing) in my brother which I made a mention of? He said: If (that failing) is actually found (in him) what you assert, you in fact backbited him, and if that is not in him it is a slander.”

مولانا جلال الدين روم رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی کو خدا تعالي سے بےحد محبت تھي اور ان کا عشق الہي ايک شعلہ فشاں ولولہ تھا جو اللہ تعالي کي معرفت کے حصول کے ليۓ دن رات کوشاں رہتا تھا - رومي عشق ا لہي کے اس روحاني جذبے کو اپني خلوت نشيني اور اپنے زہد اور تقوي کو معاشرتي زندگي ميں بروۓ کار لاتے تھے -
انہوں نے خدا سے وصل کے ليۓ تنہائي اور خلوت اختيار کي تاکہ اللہ تعالي کا قرب ممکن ہو - اس کام ميں وہ بےحد مستقل مزاج رہے - انہوں نے کبھي بھي بے صبري کا مظاہرہ نہ کيا - رومي کے مطابق جولوگ اللہ تعالي سے حقيقي عشق کرنے کي تعليم ديتے ہيں وہ ہميشہ اپنايہ عہد ياد رکھيں کہ وہ شعلہ فشان جذبات کے ساتھ اللہ سے محبت کرتے ہيں - يہ وہ گراں قيمت ہے جو ہر باوفا عاشق اللہ کے عشق ميں فنا حاصل کرنے کے ليے ضرور ادا کرتا ہے - مزيد انہيں ايسے بلند پايہ اخلاق اور روحاني رويوں ميں سرمست رہنا چاہيے کہ وہ کم خور و کم خواب ہوں اور اپني گفتگو ميں ہميشہ رب تعالي کي طرف مکمل طور پر متوجہ رہيں -اورجب ايسا مرد کامل خدا کے عشق ميں فنا ہو کر لازوال نعمت عشق حاصل کرتا ہے تو وہ لازمي طور پر حيران کن روحاني تجربات سے گزرتا ہے-

رومي رحمۃ اللہ تعالٰی کي نظر ميں ايک عاشق کو غفلت کي نيند نہيں سونا چاہيں کيونکہ اس کي يہ نيند محبوب کو ناگواز گزر سکتي ہے اس ليۓ محبوب سے ملاقات کے وقت عاشق کو ہمہ وقت بيدار رہنا چاہيۓ - جيسا کہ خدا تعالي نے حضرت داود علیہ سلام کو ہدايت فرمائي -

" اے داود علیہ سلام جو لوگ ميرے دائمي ذکر سے غافل ہو کر سوتے ہيں اور پھر مجھ سے محبت کا دعوي کرتے ہيں ، وہ جھوٹے ہيں

Udhiya (Qurbani)
What is Udhiya ?
 
‘ Udhiya’ is An Arabic Word Meaning " Blood Sacrifice",
And ‘Qurbani’ is An Urdu And Persian Word Derived From The Arabic Word " Qurban " Which Literally Means
An Act Performed To Seek Allah Ta’ala’s Pleasure.
It is Technically Used For The Sacrifice
Of An Animal Slaughtered For The Sake Of Allah Ta’ala.
 
The Sacrifice Of An Animal Has Always Been A Recognised
Form Of Worship in Many Religions,
But in the ‘Shariah’ (Islamic Sacred Law)
Of The Last And Final Messenger Of Allah Ta’ala
(Peace Be Upon Him) The Sacrifice Of An Animal
 Has Been Recognised As A Form Of ibadah (Worship)
 During The Three Days Of The Month Zul Hijjah,
Namely The 10th, 11th, And 12th .
 
This is To Commemorate The Unparalleled Sacrifice
Offered By The Prophet Sayyidna Ibrahim, Alayhi Salam,
When He, in Pursuance To A Command Of Allah Ta’ala
Conveyed To Him in A Dream,
Prepared Himself To Slaughter His Beloved Son, Sayyidna Isma'il, Alayhi Salam,
And Actually intended To Do So,
But Allah Ta’ala The Almighty,
After Testing His Submission,
Sent Down A Sheep And Saved His Son
From The Logical Fate Of Slaughter.
It is From That incident That The Sacrifice Of An Animal
Became An Obligatory Duty To Be Performed
By Every Muslim Who Has The Means To Do it.
