The media commission report clearly states that Jang/Geo Network are receiving Indian funding from a Norwegian NGO 'Friends without borders', which is being used by Indian state channel 'Doordarshan' to fund 'Aman Ki Asha'.
Pasha said CIA had a history of using NGOs and there were 1300 foreign NGOs working in Pakistan. There is clear evidence that CIA, he explained, uses them including Save the Children that, he said, has a 'history of involvement with the CIA'. The CIA was extremely worried that its nexus with NGOs might be publicly exposed, he said. In fact, Pasha continued, the CIA director had personally requested him not to expose Save the Children's role in its activities in Pakistan. I agree with ghalia, I also read this proposal, i also find nothing anything wrong. in every proposal you would have to give rationale that what is the present situation and what you want to contribute and what you have potential to get the expected outcome which you are mentioning. this type of Access to justice program with different ideas and activities are already operating in pakistan through the aid of donors. even law ministry had got grant from Asian Bank on Access to Justice Program.Secondly MKRF is an NGO it can bid for any RFP which is meeting their thematic areas and cross cutting themes.thirdly if read the proposal 50% MKRF is contributing and out of 50% demanding from donors it will spend 40% on PTV and other channels.--
